I think we might have Christmas Card material....
I've been working my hiney off to get everyone what they desire for Christmas from September till... well I'm still trying to get it all done. I've been so busy I hadn't even started thinking about Christmas cards. Then I realized Christmas is in TWO weeks! YIKES. Luckily yesterday I was able to steal 15 minutes with my small mighty and handsome man, he just happened to be wearing a green shirt and sitting in a red chair. Thank goodness... we might just have something for a Christmas card. I only want to show you something that didn't make the cut so I don't ruin the fun.

The Dog House
This is hilarious! I wish this place really existed, it is perfect.

The guys learn out to fold laundry as punishment, the lady on the speaker repeating things like "offer to change diapers" LOL
I don't need jewelry though... especially not from JCPenny... just a jogging stroller please honey :-) I have all the xbox games and computer stuff I need for now.
Although this would be nice, or this, or even this.
Thanks Steph for sending me the video :-)

Going Private?

I have a new favorite picture!
Doesn't it just crack you up! Aiden's new trick is screaming/yelling/holler'n/talking, and during Thanksgiving at my Aunt and Uncle's house there was a lot of talking going on because their giant house echos so well.

He lets you talk along with him as long as you aren't louder than him. One day his cousins tried to play along, but Aiden's feelings got hurt and things ended in tears. :-) He's a little sensitive.

I wish I could move in to this photo friendly house!
Aiden didn't appreciate Grammy and Darcie trying to make him smile.
Just teasing ;-) Look at that cute little tongue.

Aiden's baptism
On November 16th we Baptized Aiden at Resurrection Parish. I was so nervous. Mostly because we'd have to stand in front of the church in front of everyone, and we weren't given the best directions so I didn't feel like I knew what was going to happen, and who knows how a 5 month old is going to behave for an hour at church when we couldn't walk around the back of the church. Everything went great though! Aiden was a super star. He was a total ham, and never got cranky. It was great to see how happy Aiden's grandparents were for him. A special thanks to Aunt Darcie for taking pictures.

All the family that came to celebrate Aiden!
Aiden's GodParents Mark and Joslyn. He likes them a lot!
With Mom and Dad.

Life is getting back to normal
We've had a ruff couple of days around here. Aiden has been sick... real sick. It started about 10 days ago with a runny nose. Nothing big, just a little annoying when he tried to sleep. Then Sunday morning it erupted, literally. He coughed so hard that his morning feeding came back up, twice! The first time required a clothing change for mama and baby. The second time required interrupting Dad's shower, dissembling the activity bouncer, and pulling out the carpet cleaner. Luckily it wasn't worse and after he figured out how to cough things were a little cleaner around here. He would cough and then cry a little sad pathetic cry. He was so miserable. Then Sunday night the fever started. It hovered around 101 but would go down with Tylenol. He still wasn't better Monday so we made an appointment with Dr. Pepper (yes that really is the name of our amazing doctor). She was worried it might be pneumonia so Aiden had to have a chest x-ray. That wasn't fun for mama or baby. He had to be in a vertical vice with his hands stuck over his head. Thankfully no pneumonia, but she said it might get worse before it got better. Worse did happen in the form of a temp of 103.3 at 11 o'clock at night. Ryan and I were pretty worried. Ryan and I took turns sleeping on his floor for a little peace of mind. By the morning his fever had broken and it was back down to 98. HURRAY!
He is still coughing but he is feeling much better.
Here are a few shots from last week before he got sick.
