I had to add another with Aiden playing with his rattle. I call this "flapping his wings". If your hand gets in the way watch out because it hurts! He's only nailed himself in the face once, and he wasn't too happy about it.

oh man

I'm thankful for a healthy baby boy with strong lungs to cry, and a desire to be with us at all hours of the night. But little Aiden Mommy and Daddy will be a lot more fun if you let us sleep at night!

After sleep training Aiden about 6 weeks ago we finally have him sleeping through the night and 3 solid naps a day. That is until last night. Damn. If some gypsies were stroll'n the street last night I would sold him... Aiden woke up at 1:30 am, and he would close his eyes the second either of us picked him up, but when we put him down he screamed. Then if you tried to comfort him he freaked out. At 4 am we were spent! I fed him and he gave us an hour of sleep. AH! Three hours of sleep is crazy.

Ryan thought it was VERY inappropriate and would sternly tell Aiden no and try and make him stop... once I explained that the books say it helps him learn to use his lips and tongue so he can talk then the hard@$$ loosened up. Unfortunately the trick has come and gone...I'm glad I got it on video.

This morning on the changing table

I really need to get out the real video camera and capture Aiden before he gets too much bigger! Here is a video from the point and shoot camera. For some reason Aiden LOVES talking on his changing table, he is so happy there, as long as you don't try to change his clothes. Please excuse the funny noises that I have to make to get him to talk back, or the spit up on his shirt... we were at the changing table for a reason :-)
